New Hampshire ski mountains are offering a slew of discounts and deals this season. Free ski days, two-for-one lift tickets, and online discounts are plentiful.
New Hampshire ski resorts are gearing up for the 2009-2010 season, sprucing up the lodges, putting finishing touches on improvements, and running the snow guns. They've also announced a variety of fun and wallet-pleasing discounts. Here's a roundup of some of the top ski deals in the Granite State this season. Black Mountain, Bretton Woods and Cranmore Ski DiscountsAt Black Mountain lift tickets for two parents and two juniors (ages 6-17) are $99 any day and $79 midweek, non-holiday. Local full-time residents ski or ride for only $15 on non-holiday Mondays. Ladies ski or ride on Tuesdays for $20. Ski or ride half day on Wednesdays (12:30-4pm) for $15. Seniors, 55 and older, ski Thursdays for $20 and receive breakfast and free travel mug. Residents of Carroll County ski or ride on Sundays after 12:30 p.m. for $10. At Bretton Woods, two people can ski or ride for the price of one on Wednesdays. At Cranmore Mountain, get two midweek lift tickets for the price of one by buying online. Buy a three day lift ticket online in advance for a non-holiday Friday-Sunday and get Friday's ticket for free. Go to Cranmore on January 23 or March 20 in your hybrid vehicle and receive one free lift ticket per car. Purchase a lift ticket or rental package after 2 p.m. and get that day and the following day for the price of one. Get night skiing (2-8 p.m.), two hours of snowtubing and two-hour Fun Zone admission for $49. Valid every Saturday night from December 26-March 13, plus New Year's Eve and Feb. 17 from 2 p.m. until closing. Kids, ages 6 to 12, ski free on their birthdays. Register your child's birthday online at least 48 hours in advance. Mount Sunapee Ski DiscountsSki or ride on Mondays for $42. On Tuesdays, ladies receive a lift ticket and luncheon buffet for $49; childcare is available for half-price. On Wednesdays, two lift tickets cost the price of one. Purchase a full-price, all-day lift ticket on Thursdays and receive a $12 voucher for lunch at any of Mount Sunapee's food outlets. New Hampshire residents can get a lift ticket on non-holiday Sunday afternoons (noon-4 p.m.) for $38. For adults who purchase a full-price, all-day ticket Sunday-Friday, up to two children ages 6-18 can ski or ride for half price. Online coupon is required. Guests age 60 and older who purchase a full-price, full-day lift ticket can bring one grandchild (ages 6 to 18) for half price. Waterville Valley and Wildcat Mountain Ski DiscountsBuy Waterville Valley tickets online 48 hours in advance and save $10 off the regular price for downhill tickets and $2 for cross country tickets. Kids 12 and younger can ski or ride on non-holiday Sundays for $12. Ski or ride for $17 on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day and for only $1 on April 1—no joke! At Wildcat Mountain you can get two lift tickets for the price of one on Wednesdays. Ski or ride your next day for only $39 with no blackout dates. Ski or ride Sunday afternoons for only $25. Visit Wildcat on December 18, January 22, February 26, and March 26 and get lift tickets for $9. Next day tickets for $39 can be combined with this offer. Tune up those boards!
